Cohort Alpha

This program runs from November - December 2023 and is a funded and guided opportunity to make your vision for a profitable creative project happen.

If you, the project lead, are selected for Cohort Alpha, we will:

⭄ Provide $1000 of funding for your project (purchases allowed are dependent on MIT Sandbox guidelines)
⭄ Match you with a team of project contributors of different skills and specialties based on your project's needs
⭄ Closely guide you through the completion of your project.

Project lead applications will close on Saturday, October 28th, 2023.

Project Lead Requirements

• A specific vision for your profitable creative project and how it will generate revenue
• A high level of commitment, as we will be working on your project from November 2023 through December 2023. The project must be completed by the end of December 2023.
• The Project Lead is not required to reside in the Cambridge/Boston area, but please keep in mind that many of the resources we offer are located in Cambridge at MIT.

Superset Lab will open up applications for project contributors soon and match you with the optimal team to execute your vision.

Possible types of project contributors include but not limited to (differs based on project):

• Graphic designer
• Event coordinator
• Fabrication/Maker
• Photographer/Videographer
• Social Media Manager
• Product Marketer
• Finance Manager

Superset Lab will provide close mentorship, weekly check-in and working meetings, connections, access to resources, and internal deadlines to help you and your team stay on track to execute your project by the end of December 2023.

Possible types of creative projects include but are not limited to:

• Makeup product launch
• Runway show
• Dance party
• Gala or ball
• Clothing product launch
• Art exhibit
• Musical performance
• Performance art
• Short film premiere
• Interactive art installation
• Music festival
